🎣 Optional: Half-Day Fly Fishing Event 🎣

Catch the “Zen” with the optional half-day fly fishing event with a guided trip. Whether you are a seasoned fly fisher or a novice, the Utah experience will be one to remember.  The fishing license, gear, and terminal tackle is all handled. No more than three guests will be paired with each fly fishing guide.
This optional event is a great way to enjoy the great outdoors prior to the MCAA Midyear Meeting officially kicking off later that evening.

⛳️ Homestead Golf Club Lunch and Outing ⛳️

For the first time, the MCAA has rented out an entire golf course for our MAC PEC Golf Outing. This year, get on the bus at approximately 10:45 AM and be shuttled to the Homestead Golf Course. There, a lunch including grilled chicken and brisket will be served. Then, it's time for golf. After our round, we will regroup for a Golf Social and Prize Presentation before we head back to the hotels.

Long before Park City was the iconic ski destination it is today, it housed many international residents in search of making their riches mining. It’s no secret that Park City has a colorful history as an old mining town.. What better way to get to know this colorful mountain oasis than on a GPS race through the heart of its history?

We start GPS adventure races by dividing your group into even teams. Each team will be given a driver, a GPS unit, and their first clue. Based off that first clue you’ll race around town to the clues coordinates by directing your driver on where to go. Awaiting you at each destination is a task. Some tasks are silly, some informative, but all are fun. In order to get the next clue you must complete the task given to you at each destination.

🥏 SOLD OUT: Optional Trap Shooting Event 🥏

Enjoy shooting clay pigeons at a rustic trap shooting range in Kamas, Utah. The range is located only 20 minutes from Park City. We offer two motorized traps, one standard and one wobble allowing us to cater to amateur or advanced shooters. For those looking for even more of a challenge, we can also offer a five stand.

Once arriving at the range you will get a comprehensive safety talk, private instruction, safety glasses, ear plugs and a 12 gauge shot gun. Each guest will receive 50 rounds (two boxes of shells), allowing for plenty of opportunities to shoot.

🏆 Hall Of Fame Awards Ceremony & Dinner 🏆

The MCAA will be hosting our Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony and Dinner during Midyear. This event is now a permanent fixture of the meeting, and will be professionally filmed and documented for the first time. New inductees will be awarded their Hall of Fame plaque on Wednesday, August 28th. Inductees will have the chance to give speeches to commemorate this historic evening. We anticipate announcing our new inductees a few months prior to the Midyear Meeting.

Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) is located approximately 45 minutes from Park City via car. Alternatively, guests may choose to fly into the Heber Valley airport, TAC Airport, and Atlantic Aviation Airport (all of which are close or slightly closer). The Atlantic Aviation Airport is a high-end jet center capable of receiving private aircraft.
